This ministry links congregations, individuals and community resources to help eliminate poverty in Kent County.

 

The purpose of Coit Church is reconciliation. Coit Church seeks to reconcile people to God, to the church, to their families, and to people of different colors. It wants to train people to be able to share God's love on their job, at home, in their neighborhood, and in the church.

The ministry came from a vision that Biblical, restorative justice requires reconciliation to victims and perpetrators of crime, through Christ’s love and compassion.

Identifies hurting people in the Grand Rapids area, connects them to networks of caring churches and equips local churches to love their neighbors.
