in Various Ministries
Bellamy Creek Prison-- Celebration Fellowship Christian Reformed Church
Members provide a visiting team that worships with the prisoners who are members of this church. Also members provide an AfterCare team to help prisoners re-enter society. Members also support this church financially.
Beta Bible Study
A hospitable, come-as-you-are Bible study group for anyone who wants to explore the Christian faith in a safe setting.
Crossroads Bible Lessons
Members grade Bible lessons and write letters of encouragement to prisoners around the country.
Doorstep Ministry
Members care for the immediate needs and pray for the spiritual needs of our brothers and sisters in Christ during times of crisis, through the Minister of Outreach.
Mobile Food Pantry
In cooperation with Congress Elementary School and Second Harvest Gleaners, members sponsor a monthly food truck at the school. This monthly service varies depending on the availability of the truck.
God’s Kitchen
Members serve meals to our downtown neighbors the third Monday of each month.
Impact Programs at Congress School
Members hope to positively impact the lives of students are Congress School by providing Christian dance instruction and Bible studies, a manners class which helps students learn proper behavior in social situations, and a knitting class.
Inner City Christian Federation
Members supply backpacks and supplies for children returning to school. Members also work on houses for needy neighborhood people.
JustFaith
Members meet for thirty weeks for this Scripture-based program that looks at poverty and compassion for the poor through the lens of the Christian tradition’s social mission. Through prayer, experiences, books and videos, participants will encounter poverty as they learn to respond to the needs of a broken world.

Kids Hoops
Members provide opportunity for neighborhood children to learn the basics of playing basketball on Saturday mornings during the season in the church’s multi-purpose room.
Kids Hope USA
Members gifted with a heart for children are involved as tutors and prayer-partners with elementary students at Congress School. Many of these children are involved in Scouts and Gems. Some of their parents are involved in the Alpha program.
Kids’ Life Bible Club at Congress
Members teach elementary students an introduction to the Christian faith through Bible stories.
Mel Trotter Ministries
Members supply tote bags filled with personal hygiene articles for distribution to the homeless and needy.
SERVE
Each summer, LaGrave hosts a SERVE group, bringing young people from across the United States and Canada together for a week of service/mission in the community. For 2009, the group will come from June20 to June 27. This will be the twentieth SERVE team hosted by the church. The week includes painting, working in food pantries, demolishing buildings, performing janitorial services, renovating homes, and offering day care.
