The Bruised Reed: Prison Ministry at LaGrave

"Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight...A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he brings forth justice; he will not falter or be discouraged til he establishes justice on earth."  This servant will come "to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness."  (from Isaiah 42 NIV)

"Here is my servant whom I have chosen...I will put my Spirit on him and he will proclaim justice to the nations." (Matthew 12:18 NIV)

Those in prison, the bruised reeds of Isaiah, are the focus of this part of LaGrave's outreach ministry.
