The Women’s Wednesday Mid-Morning Bible Study
When: Weekly on Wednesday mornings; 9:45 – 11:30 AM; September through April.
Where: LaGrave’s Church Parlor.
Format: Meetings begins with a time of coffee and fellowship followed by devotions and prayer. The women then break into smaller groups for our Bible study. Weekly lessons are taken from a study guide based on a theme or book in the Bible. The group welcomes women who desire a challenging but user-friendly Bible study that speaks to the issues and questions that are faced in daily lives. The group recently completed a 12-week study on Prophets, Priests & Kings: The Lives of Sanuel and Saul by John MacArthur. Child care is not provided.
Women’s Beth Moore Bible Studies (offered at two times)
When: Thursday mornings; 9:15 - 11:30 AM
Where: LaGrave Church’s Parlor
When: Tuesday evenings: 7 – 8:30 PM
Where: LaGrave Church’s Executive Conference Room
Format: The Beth Moore Bible Studies are structured so that during the week the women spend time alone with God to work through each day’s “homework”. Meetings begin with refreshments, conversation and the viewing a DVD of Beth Moore. After the DVD, the group divides into small groups for further discussion. The evening session is offered to accommodate those working during the day. Child care is not provided at either Bible study.
