8:45 a.m. - On this Second Sunday of Advent, Dr. Stan Mast will preach a sermon entitled "The Inverted Invasion: Accepted" based on Luke 1:38-56. A LaGrave family will light the Advent Wreath Candle. Soloists Sarah Bylsma and CarlaJoy Strand will sing "I Sing of A Maiden" by Patrick Hadley. The Children's Worship kids will sing "Mary Had A Baby," a traditional spiritual. Organist Dr. Larry Visser will be joined by flutist, Ruth Bylsma and cellist, Calin Muresan.
10:00 a.m. Education Hour - Church school classes for all ages. The Growing U adult ed program features two classes: "The Bible and Disability: A Cass for Inclusion" with Rev. Mark Stephenson, Director of Disability Concerns for the CRC. The second class features LaGrave's Mary Stuit and Alanna Rynders reporting on their recent work with Bethany Christian Services at an orphanage in Romania.

The Children's Worship kids will sing "Mary Had A Baby," a traditional spiritual. Organist Dr. Larry Visser will be joined by flutist, Ruth Bylsma and cellist, Calin Muresan.
3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - The Service of Lessons and Carols will be presented by the Calvin College Campus Choir and Women's Chorale. The theme of the services will be "Christus Paradox." The service combines Scripture readings, anthems, and congregational singing and is patterned after a tradition that began under Bishop Truro of England, simplified in 1918 at King's College in Cambridge. Norma deWaal Malefyt will serve as organist for the service.
