The Cub Scouts provide a challenging and fun curriculum for all 2nd through 5th grade boys within LaGrave and our community for the purpose of maturing mentally, physically, and spiritually with a Christian perspective. The boys take part in weekly meetings, games, crafts, sports and service projects. They participate in the ACCESS City Wide Food Drive, design and build a car for the Pinewood Derby, and have an overnight campout.
Cub Scouts is held at LaGrave, on Wednesday from 7:00-8:30pm from late September through April.
Tiger Cubs is a club for all first grade boys, accompanied by a parent. This club prepares the boys for Cub Scouts. Tiger Scouts participate in activities and outings which are planned by the Tiger Cub Coach and parents.

Boys entering sixth grade to 18 years of age can participate in Boy Scouts. The goal is to provide a Christian character-building environment where they can grow physically, mentally, and spiritually; as well as learn responsibility and leadership in an atmosphere of camaraderie. Activities include outdoor adventure, personal advancement and camaraderie, monthly camp-outs, week long summer trip, hiking, fishing, sports, pioneering, swimming, community service projects, practical lessons in citizenship, devotions, and the opportunity to work toward Eagle Scout rank and earn merit badges.
Meetings are help at LaGrave, on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30 pm, October through May, plus one weekend a month and one week during the summer. LaGrave Boy Scouts are Boy Scout Troop 342, part of the Gerald R. Ford Council.
